Thermostatic Mixing Valve

The Thermostatic Mixing Valve is designed to be purchased as an attachment for the fixed temperature Infra Tap. The Thermostatic Mixing Valve has a thermostat built-in which maintains a constant temperature by adjusting the flow of each hot and cold supply. When water begins to get colder, the thermostatic valve will automatically reduce the flow of cold water to compensate. This is particularly useful in guarding against the possibility of scalding injuries.

Product characteristics

  • Brass – chrome plated
  • Work pressure: 0.05 Mpa-1 Mpa.
  • Ideal pressure: 0.1Mpa-0.5Mpa. If more than 0.5MPa, an installation of pressure relief valve is required.
  • Standard pressure: dynamic pressure 0.3 ±0.02Mpa.
  • Cold water supply temperature: 4-29℃, hot water supply temperature: 55-85℃, the recommended hot water temperature is 60-70℃.
  • Temperature range of constant temperature effluent: 20-50℃.
  • Safety button temperature: 38℃.

Safety and anti-scalding
When cold water is unexpectedly out of supply, the flow rate of mixed effluent decreases rapidly to zero.

Temperature accuracy
Set the required temperature first, and you can get the specified temperature within 5 seconds after the water is discharged. The temperature fluctuation of the water is within 1℃.

Temperature stability
When the inlet temperature remains unchanged, the pressure of cold and hot water varies arbitrarily by 50%, and the outlet temperature fluctuates within 2℃. When the inlet pressure remains unchanged, the temperature of hot water supply rises from 60℃ to 75℃ (5 ℃/min), the outlet temperature fluctuates within 2℃.
